Four Methods to solve the deformation of flat big plastic profile
- Change the mold into a multi-point entry. This can reduce the degree of molecular orientation arrangement and reduce the gap of inconsistent shrinkage in all directions.
- Properly increase the mold temperature.ABS material is usually maintained above 60 ℃. In order to reduce the cooling rate of the extruded ABS parts, we can reduce the temperature difference caused by the transition of the cooling, so as to reduce the degree of molecular orientation.
- The most important thing is to increase the injection or holding pressure, and greatly extend the injection or holding time, so that the size of the extruded part will increasewhile reduce its shrinkage. The degree of deformation will be significantly improved. Therefore, extending the injection or holding time (such as extending 10 to 15 seconds) has become an important tool to solve the deformation problem.
- If the above three measures have failed to achieve the desired effect, the only way is to take out of the shaping mold with a little skill.
First of all, the flat plastic profile parts should be taken out of the mold early with high temperature (should still be very hot, this is very critical). And put it on the workbench with a fixture to set the shape. The key is that the design of the fixture needs to be appropriate. At the same time, we should also consider the degree of rebound of the extruded parts. Usually, after 12 hours the rebound will basically stop. The lower the temperature out of the mold, the greater the amount of rebound. As the saying goes, the overkill must be corrected, so the amount of overpressure should be studied during production.
